What are your books about?

Iggy & Oz is a series about two brothers unraveling mysterious occurrences in their neighborhood. As two brothers grapple with the enigma surrounding them, their quest becomes vital to safeguarding the very heart of their gated community.”

Book one in the series is The Plastic Dinos of Doom. The story is when Iggy & Oz discover their plastic toy dinosaurs have mysteriously come to life, they have to figure out how to stop them before the neighborhood is completely wrecked!

Book two is the Soda Pop wars where the kids discover soda pop that gives them superpowers.

Book three is The Living Snot… Well lets just say an old handkerchief brings their snot to life and it starts to grow into a giant massive blob that covers everything.

Why did you start writing your books?

Well, the first reason is I wanted to write a book for my kids. But the second reason is I wanted to write some clean adventure stories that families could enjoy reading together, especially for those kids that don’t enjoy reading.

What’s your message?

I kept hearing that boys don’t like reading, and neither do men. But I don’t think that’s true. I believe when you give boys and men a story they want to read, and they enjoy reading, they will read.

My stories are designed really to get kids excited about reading. But within each individual story Iggy has to grow and confront basic moral flaws he has.

What do you write?

I write Christian Fantasy with sweet romance and epic adventures.

Why did you write your stories?

I write my stories because I believe it is my calling and purpose. When I was in fourth grade, I went through 40 days of purpose at my church. During Sunday School, one of the teachers asked us what gifts we could use to glorify God. I realized writing stories was a gift that I should use to honor Him. I haven’t stopped since.

What message do you hope to convey to readers?

I want young women to know that they are loved by God and called by Him to a greater purpose. With my stories, I hope to encourage those young women with realistic portrayals of what it means to have a relationship with Christ.

What do you write?

I write fantasy romance and YA epic fantasy. I also have one sci-fi book!

Why did you write your stories?

I write because I believe stories are a gift to both create and enjoy. I believe stories can honor God and bring much enjoyment in life.

What message do you hope to convey to readers?

One theme that resonates through all my books is the idea that truth has power over lies. I love playing with this idea in fantasy, as I can create the worlds and really play with the ideas of light and dark, truth and lies.

I hope you enjoyed meeting three Christian authors who are actively writing new work. I love introducing readers to Christian authors especially since I had no idea there was so much Christian-made fiction out there. And it was made to be age appropriate with a message I can get behind.
