I come from a long line of creatives. Mountain music-makers, painters, weavers, and storytellers, expressing life’s struggles and joys as they journeyed through it. It’s no wonder I fell into the writing craft.
Building storyworlds that explore faith in fantastical realms consumes most of my free time. Magical, sci-fi, and dystopian places stalk my dreams and fill my prose with a dusting of hope and inspiration.
Take Bree (pictured in the banner above). In my novel Null, she lives in a dystopian future where big data predetermines everything about her, including her future spouse and career. Before she can find out who she really is, she has to lose everything—her family, her friends, and even her identity.
My young adult manuscripts have been selected as semi-finalists in American Christian Fiction Writers’ Genesis contest for several years and won in the Speculative Fiction category.
