Hot New Clean Teen Book Box Alert

Book boxes are all over the market. If you’re looking to create a extra level of book fun for your teen, the Ink Drinker Book Box might be for you. The other thing I love about this book box is that it’s made by a Christian for Christian teens.

Check out my interview with Hailey below:

Why did you decide to start Ink Drinker Book Box?

Ink Drinker actually started as a school assignment! For one of my classes, I needed to start a small business. I’ve always loved the idea of book boxes, but rarely felt comfortable purchasing one. I am a clean reads person. Most book box companies don’t announce what their featured book is ahead of time, so I had no way of knowing whether I’d get a book I would be comfortable reading or not.

From various discussions with friends and other people in the Bookstagram community, I knew I wasn’t the only person who read clean books, and figured that there were probably people like me who struggled with purchasing mainstream book boxes. So, Ink Drinker Book Box was born!

How is Ink Drinker Book Box different than other book boxes?

Ink Drinker is different from most book boxes in a couple ways. As mentioned above, Ink Drinker focuses on clean reads. I release the title of the featured book as well as a content warning ahead of time, so readers can decide whether or not they want the book box.

All the swag items in an Ink Drinker Book Box come directly from the featured book, rather than just being swag items related to the book or the genre. The swag items are also wrapped and labeled with their corresponding page number, so readers can unwrap each item as they reach it in the book! For example, in Fawkes by Nadine Brandes, there’s a stone dagger that is of importance to the plot. One of our swag items for our Fawkes box was a stone dagger letter opener to be opened when the stone dagger is first introduced in the book.

What books have been in your boxes already?

I’ve featured Fawkes by Nadine Brandes, Sweep: The Story of a Girl and Her Monster by Jonathan Auixer, The Lost Girl of Astor Street by Stephanie Morrill, Seventh City by Emily Hayse, Calculated by Nova McBee, and Splinters of Scarlet by Emily Bain Murphy.

What’s your favorite book? Why?

Picking a favorite book is practically impossible, so I’ll just list a couple top books. I love the worldbuilding in Of Fire and Ash by Gillian Bronte Adams. I love the originality and themes of the Out of Time trilogy by Nadine Brandes. I love the character voices and plot twists in The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen. And I love how heartwarming Sweep: The Story of a Girl and Her Monster by Jonathan Auxier is.

Which new releases are you most excited about?

Some upcoming releases that I’m super excited for are Wind Daughter by Joanna Ruth Meyer, Wishtress by Nadine Brandes, Aberration by Cathy McCrumb, and In Myrtle Peril by Elizabeth C. Bunce.

How can we help you to spread the word about your book box?

Word of mouth is always the best way to share about Ink Drinker! You can also find us on social media (@inkdrinkerbookbox) and share our posts.
