The Storyteller Squad

July!

Can you believe it’s July already? Hopefully you’re all enjoying the summer and staying healthy through the insanity that is 2020. I was a bit late in getting our calendar assigned for July, so I have a limited list of what specifically to expect. We will still have weekly reviews each Friday, as well as great tips through the week. But here are the few specifics I have for you:

This Friday Kristen is going to review The RoboTales series by Jill Williamson and her son Luke. It’s a middle grade fairy tale retelling with a sci-fi twist!

July 6th, Gretchen is going to share her experience with a wildfire you won’t want to miss.

If you’ve been looking for a great devotional book for teens, Jill is going to give us a scoop on something great she’s found. Look for that Friday, July 10th.

July 15th, Candice is teaching us how to use the five senses to describe a scene. (I’m particularly excited about this one!)

And July 22nd, there’s something new! Julane is going to give us the skinny on an online writing tool. Technology is really starting to help us get our act together, so I’m excited she’s teaching us more about Plottr!

We hope to see you here, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as usual!

Misha

Misha McCorkle is an artist, a scholar, and a lover of stories. While working towards her master’s degree in the Old Testament, it occurred to her how important stories are to the growth and maturation of God’s people. They broaden our limited worldview and engage the unfamiliar depths of God’s riches scattered throughout every linguistic and geographical existence.
