The Storyteller Squad

Laurie Germaine

Hi, everyone! So glad you decided to drop by and nose around. 🙂 I’m Laurie Germaine, author of Tinsel in a Tangle, a 2018 Selah Award finalist. This holiday fantasy revolves around the misadventures of Tinsel, a human-sized elf, whose clumsy ways put Christmas in jeopardy. To avoid the Naughty List, she must seek help from some über-talkative reindeer and one annoyingly cute Kringle. I’m currently working on its sequel. Do you have your passport? ‘Cuz we’re going to Germany!

Born and raised in New England with my sights set on France and later Germany, I now live (quite happily, I should add) in Montana with my hubby of eighteen years and our two daughters, ages 14 & 11. When I’m not writing, you can find me dreaming of Christmas year-round, knitting a medley of projects, creating dioramas for my group of 16″ fashion dolls, and crossing off an ever-evolving Mommy To-Do list. If you want to see some of my creations (after you’ve perused our website, of course 😉 ), you can hop on over to my personal blog, scatteredwhimsy.com.

My knitted versions of Tinsel Kuchler and Niklas Kringle from Tinsel in a Tangle.

Victoria Kimble

Victoria is a wife, a mom to three girls, a full-fledged homebody, a so-so housekeeper, a mediocre musician and has dreamed of writing her whole life. She lives at the foot of the Rockies in Littleton, Colorado and she will never take that for granted. She has spent most of her life living in Colorado, with a brief six-year hiatus to live in Nebraska to attend college and get married. She is mostly a stay-at-home mom, but dabbles in a variety of other odd jobs, such as doing admin work and crocheting beard hats in the winter. She loves meat and potatoes, superhero TV shows and movies, and when the weather stays between 70 and 80 degrees. She could probably love the beach if she ever spent any time there.

Victoria spent her childhood reading and making friends with the characters in her favorite books. She never grew out of that.
