I was not a reader or a writer as a child. In fact, I am one of the most unlikely individuals to ever write a book! It goes to show that anything is possible when we set our minds to accomplishing a goal! Everyone has a gift or talents. I was given the gift of music, which I pursued for many years. After my second bout of nodules, I couldn’t talk for over six weeks and never sang again. Instead of being depressed, I chose to pour my soul into writing and now, the rest is history
I am the award-winning author of The Text, Sour Lemon and Sweet Tea, and Sour Lemon Strikes Out. The Text is a near future where technology not only govern citizens, it controls them. The Sour Lemon Series is a humorous portrayal of life before cell phones and social media, emphasizing positive family values. My blog, 2Wrds, is a collection of encouraging and inspirational stories. A huge fan of music, I get much of my inspiration from song lyrics. My favorite foods are homemade chocolate chip cookies and coffee. I live in north Georgia with my husband, twin boys, and our two mischievous Labrador retrievers.
