Hey there!
I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and hugs. Apart from that, I love time with my raucous family and could read all night if I had an endless source of energy. I’m editing Unbetrothed, a YA fantasy, which comes out February 2022. I also have a time traveling YA sci-fi manuscript in the works.
Before writing, I studied to be an elementary school teacher with a minor in English. Somehow I ended up teaching in a dual-language classroom with an Masters in Literacy Education. Spanish is a beautiful language.
That changed when my wild and crazy kids were born. Now, I play tea party, make forts, use every spare minute to write/edit, Bookstagram (@candiceyamnitz), and do the million other things I need to get done around the house.
