Hi y’all. My name is Jordan Scott and I am taking over Sharon Rene’s blog post today.
I’m just a teenager from Old Memphis in the North American Collective but my life is so exciting that it’s in a book.
Let me tell you a little about Hesitant Heroes. Here’s the tagline.
In 2062, a teenage computer geek must stop an assassination and rescue her kidnapped friends.
Sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it?
My adventure started when the Global Collective Council chose me to attend Global Collective University. I left my family behind and traveled to the Alps in the European Collective. I was really nervous but I quickly made some great friends.
I was put on Team Seven a group of talented teens. Let me introduce you to them.
There’s me, of course. My talent is computers.
Hannie Jacobson is my roommate. She’s from Israel and an expert at battle planning.
Timberlyn is from the African Collective. She can tame animals and knows how to heal with herbs.
Malese is from the Pacific Collective and she’s a martial arts champ. You should see her kick!
Laurel Conner is a ballerina from the European Collective.
Now for the boys.
Matthew Thomas is a super jock from the North American Collective. Don’t tell him but I have huge crush on him.
Rafael Alvarado is from the Latin Collective and he’s a great marksman.
Victor Petro, from the Baltic Collective, is a weightlifting champion.
And then there’s Dawson Montgomery. He’s a real piece of work from the European Collective. He’s a great scientist but thinks he’s better than anyone on Team Seven.
I suppose I should tell you about the adults. Oh boy!
Cimarron Butler is our dorm master and she takes the title of master very seriously.
The government is controlled by a wacky brother and sister team. Hunter and River Wallis.
But there is one awesome adult and amazingly she’s a politician. Sierra Stone was a young rebel but now she sits on the Global Collective Council. She is my hero.
I still haven’t told you the worst part.
Christian students at GCU disappear from campus. Team Seven starts investigating and you should see all the trouble we encounter.
Never a dull moment!
Hesitant Heroes is now out in the world. All we need is readers.
I hope you will join us as we travel from the Alps to Old Venezuela searching for those missing students and trying to save Sierra Stone’s life.
I guess I better go now. Thanks for letting me barge in and talk to y’all today!
One more thing, the buy link for Anaiah Press is below. I’m sure you can find Amazon.
Yay! Congrats, Sharon. And such a fun way to introduce us to the characters. Happy release day!
Thanks!
